Hydrogen is the first actual chemical element, despite the "element" neutronium. The symbol used to show hydrogen is H. During standard room temperature and pressure, Hydrogen is an odorless, colorless, tasteless, nonmetallic, and highly flammable gas. With its atomic weight being only 1.00794 u, it is the lightest element.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, making up about 75% of the mass in the universe. Stars in main sequence are mainly made up of hydrogen, that is when they are in plasma state. Elemental hydrogen is very rare to find on our planet. Industrial production is from hydrocarbons like methane, with most being used at the production site.

Chemical propertiesEdit

Hydrogen has one electron on its single outer shell. It forms H+ ions when it bonds with anions.

Physical propertiesEdit

Hydrogen is a gas at room temperature.
